Nagseni, Oct 01 (KNO): Leader of Opposition, Sunil Sharma Wednesday virtually inaugurated the temporary accommodation for Kendriya Vidyalaya classes in Nagseni, marking a significant milestone in the region’s journey towards accessible and quality education. The initiative fulfils the long-standing aspiration of the people of Nagseni, who had been seeking better educational facilities for their children. The newly arranged accommodation will ensure that students are able to continue their academic pursuits in a conducive environment until permanent infrastructure is established, a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) reads. Speaking on the occasion, Sharma described the development as a historic step for Nagseni, stating that education is the most powerful tool to empower communities and shape the future. “This initiative will serve as a strong foundation for nurturing young minds and building a brighter, more promising future for our children. It reflects our collective commitment to inclusive and equitable educational development across the region,” he said. Local residents and parents welcomed the move, expressing their gratitude for addressing a long-pending demand. They noted that the presence of Kendriya Vidyalaya classes will open new opportunities for students of Nagseni and nearby areas, bringing them closer to the mainstream of national-level education standards. The inauguration is being seen as an important step towards strengthening the education ecosystem in remote and hilly areas of Kishtwar, ensuring that no child is deprived of learning opportunities due to geographical challenges—(KNO)
